Terms of Service

1. What muviis is
muviis is a friendship, connection, and networking platform. It exists to help travelers meet real local people and build genuine connections through defined, in-person activities and experiences — such as guided walks, shared meals, hobbies, and similar planned activities. Every listing must describe a specific activity; muviis does not permit open-ended companionship with no defined activity, and muviis is not a dating, escort, or companionship-for-hire service. Hosts are independent, not employees or agents of muviis. muviis facilitates discovery, booking, messaging, and payment, but is not a party to the actual experience performed.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and profile, and for keeping your login credentials secure.
3. Bookings and payment
Clients pay for bookings through muviis using cryptocurrency. muviis retains a 20% platform fee from each booking; the remainder is the host's payout. Payment is held until the client confirms the booking was fulfilled, or released automatically after the period described in our Cancellation Policy. Refunds are issued at muviis's discretion following a review, not automatically.
4. Muviis Coins
Muviis Coins are a virtual currency purchased with cryptocurrency, used to send Moments (in chat or during a livestream) and to unlock Content Creator posts. Coins have no cash value, cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or refunded for money, and are not a financial investment. Coin balances and prices may be adjusted by muviis at any time. When you send a Moment or unlock a post, muviis credits the recipient creator or host's wallet with a revenue share (shown to creators/hosts in their own dashboard, and configurable by muviis); the remainder is muviis's platform fee. Withdrawal of host/creator wallet balances is not yet available.
5. Livestreaming and Moments
Hosts may livestream to other muviis users, who can chat and send paid Moments (gifts) using Coins. You're responsible for what you say and show while livestreaming or in livestream chat — the same rules in this document, including Section 9 (No solicitation), apply there exactly as they do everywhere else on muviis. muviis may end a livestream or remove a participant at any time for a violation of these terms.
6. Content Creator posts
Any user may opt in to post photos and videos that other users unlock with Coins. You retain ownership of content you post, but grant muviis a license to host, store, and display it to users who've unlocked it (or to whom you've made it free) for as long as it remains posted. Content Creator posts are for general premium/exclusive content — sexually explicit or adult content is not permitted, and posts found to violate this will be removed, with the posting account subject to suspension or termination.
7. Public profile pages
Any user may claim a username to get a public profile page at muviis.com/u/ [username]. Once claimed, that page — your name, photos, bio, and whichever sections you've chosen to show — is visible to anyone with the link, including people who aren't logged in and aren't muviis members. You can remove your username at any time from your profile settings to make the page unavailable again.
8. Friends and social features
You can send and accept friend requests with other users. If you enable the "Friends" section on your public profile page, your friends' names and photos may be shown there to other signed-in muviis members — including a friend whose own profile isn't otherwise public. You can turn this off at any time from your profile settings.
9. No solicitation
muviis has zero tolerance for solicitation of any kind. You may not use muviis — including messages, livestreams, listings, or Content Creator posts — to offer, request, or arrange sexual services or activity of any kind, to solicit payment for companionship without a defined activity, to harass or endanger another user, or for any unlawful purpose. Every experience listing must describe a specific, defined activity that a reasonable person would recognize as a genuine local experience — this requirement exists specifically so listings can't be used as cover for solicitation. Content or messages that solicit prohibited activity will be removed, and accounts involved will be suspended or terminated and may be reported to relevant authorities.
10. Limitation of liability
muviis is not responsible for the conduct of clients, hosts, or other users, or for the quality or safety of any experience booked through the platform, beyond the escrow and dispute-review process described in our Cancellation Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of muviis after a change means you accept the updated terms.
